For Your Stay at Brocco

Location

Brocco on the Park is perfectly located for access to Sheffield city centre, the University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University and the city’s hospitals. The countryside delights of Derbyshire are only a short journey away from our

hotel and kitchen. Brocco on the Park is situated just off the A625, which takes you directly to the Peak District:

home to handsome towns like Bakewell and Hathersage, historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon,

and where there are walks, cycle trails and outdoor activities aplenty.

Parking

We have a parking space for each hotel room in our on-site car park or at St Augustine’s Church on Brocco Bank.

If full, turn left onto Brocco Bank and, after 150m, turn right into the car park of St Augustine’s Church.

Bear left and park in Brocco’s designated spaces, with the church building on your right.

Paid parking can be found in streets near the hotel.

You can park on Brocco Bank itself between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm.

The roads around the hotel can be parked on from 6.30pm until 8am.

Public Transport

The local area is well served by buses (search for 81, 82, 83, 85 and 88/88A on www.travelsouthyorkshire.com).

You can hop on a bus or hail a taxi (call City Taxis: 0114 239 3939) and be in Sheffield city centre in minutes.

On Our Doorstep

Neighbouring Sharrow Vale Road is fast becoming a local food destination with its home-grown delis, bakeries and other artisan shops; while Ecclesall Road is great for independent shopping and evenings out.

We’re lucky enough to have one of south-west Sheffield’s best-loved green spaces next door: Endcliffe Park.

Perfect for a leisurely stroll, a morning run, or carefree bike ride.

Don't forget to grab a take away coffee from our team on your way out!

Follow Endcliffe along the Porter Valley through Bingham Park and Whiteley Woods  and into the calm of Derbyshire.

The Porter Brook flows through the park and past Brocco: why not feed the ducks by one of the many dams or

enjoy one of our Afternoon Teas to take away next to its babbling stream?

Just ask at reception if you want any recommendations for places to visit in and around Sheffield or Derbyshire.

We’d love to help you make the most of your stay. See our Out and About in Sheffield Guide.
